Mr. Freeman is co- founder and Managing Partner of FHR Capital, LLC. Prior to founding FHR Capital in July 2019, Mr. Freeman was with Colony Capital, Inc from April 2005 through June 2019 where he was Managing Director and Global Head of Portfolio Management  and co-founder of Colony Realty Partners, LLC. Before Colony, he was a Partner and the Director of Acquisitions at TA Associates Realty, LLC from February 1994 to February 2004 where he served on the firm's Executive Committee and Investment Committee and chaired the Acquisition Committee. Previously, he was an Asset Manager with General Electric Investments and with Aetna Realty Investors.

Mr. Freeman’s board memberships currently include serving on the board of directors of Easterly Government Properties, Inc (NYSE: DEA), the Advisory Board of Cambridge Trust Company (NASDAQ: CATC). Mr. Freeman also serves on the board of directors of several not-for-profit organizations.

Mr. Freeman received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a B.A. from Bates College.
